Mint Tea is not tea, per se. It’s a refreshing drink brewed from mint that grows wild naturally in the rolling hills of Pennsylvania. The Amish and Mennonite communities of the state have made Meadow Tea, as it’s more commonly known, for centuries.
The fresh mint, usually spearmint or peppermint, is collected, brewed, and steeped for hours. The drink is then sweetened to taste, poured over ice, and served. Meadow mint tea is a time-honored part of Pennsylvania-Dutch culture, and it tastes great! Clover Farms is proud to make Icy Mint Tea readily available. Since 1937, Clover Farms has served the area by producing fresh milk and other dairy products. To this day, we are the largest privately-owned dairy company in the state. We still produce milk and dairy products, and we collaborate with over 170 local dairy farms to do so.
