Before contracting with milk co-packing companies, consider the private label services of Clover Farms. Our in-house manufacturing and packaging expertise enable us to recommend varieties, support design and packaging options, and manage your distribution requirements.
For over 80 years, Clover Farms has manufactured deliciously wholesome milk and dairy products, as well as iced tea, juice, and other fluid products. We work closely with over 170 family farms to ensure that we can supply you with the healthiest, premium-quality dairy products.
Clover Farms milk has a unique, fresh taste thanks to our dedication to monitoring quality, special care, and attention to detail in the processing and packaging steps of production.
Our farmers have the most sanitary up-to-date equipment, the healthiest cows, and pledge not to use the artificial growth hormone rBST. These factors enable us to achieve quality standards that exceed federal guidelines for freshness and purity. Our milk is continuously quality tested to ensure purity and cold-shipped for maximum freshness.
Private Labeling or Co-Packing?
The terms “private labeling” and “co-packing” are often confused and misused. They do not have the same meaning, and there are some significant differences between the two processes.
Private labeling refers to products manufactured by one company (e.g., Clover Farms milk, Icy Teas, or fruit drinks) and sold under another company’s private label/brand. In other words, you place your label on our existing beverages.
In some cases, an exclusive formula can be created for you, or we can adjust our current formula to meet your needs. Under a private label agreement, Clover Farms procures the ingredients, manufactures the product(s), and retains ownership of our proprietary formulas.
Whether you are building on an existing brand identity or creating a new one from scratch, private labeled milk products from Clover Farms will give you an opportunity to create a unique image for your brand.
Co-packing refers to contract packing, contract packaging, or contract manufacturing. In short, this refers to process in which a third-party manufactures, packages and labels products for its clients using the client’s proprietary formula(s).
Some co-packers perform limited operations and require the client to provide all ingredients. Others offer purchasing services for ingredients, as well as shipping and logistics operations. Co-packing fees vary from project to project.
