Class A Local Truck Driving Jobs in Reading, PAWe process fluid milk, heavy cream, Icy Tea, fruit drinks, spring water, and other delicious products, and deliver to local and regional stores, restaurants, schools and other institutions located primarily in Philadelphia and eastern Pennsylvania, New York City and Long Island, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.

Our full-time local truck driving jobs typically consist of transporting products within a radius that allows you to complete your deliveries and return home the same day. We do not offer over-the-road or long-haul driving positions.

You will work locally for a great company and will be responsible for transporting a wide variety of products to various local locations within assigned route schedules and time windows.

Job Description/Responsibilities/Benefits

The Clover Farms Class A CDL driver must have, or be able to obtain, a tanker endorsement on his or her license. He or she will be required to operate a heavy (over 26,001 lbs) insulated tank-type straight truck to support scheduled pick up, transportation, and delivery of bulk milk between farms, dairy, and other designated commercial locations. No experience is necessary.

Responsibilities include:

  • Pickup/deliver a wide variety of dairy products, juices and Icy Teas to various local locations
  • Unload/ load cold products to the customer
  • Complete logs and reports
  • Follow DOT regulations and OSHA and Clover Farms safety standards
  • Maintain trucks and equipment in a safe manner at all times
  • Have ability to use handheld electronic devices
  • Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
  • Represent Clover Farms positively and professionally in our communities
  • Have experience driving combination vehicles in all weather conditions
  • Ability to communicate effectively

Other requirements include: 21 years of age*; possession of a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR); the ability to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and physical capabilities test; compliance with all personal appearance standards; and ability to pass a Clover Farms road test.  (*Applicants who are under 21 should still apply because we conduct training.)
