We process fluid milk, heavy cream, Icy Tea, fruit drinks, spring water, as well as eggnog, buttermilk, creamers, and other delicious products, and deliver to local and regional stores, restaurants, schools and other institutions located primarily in Philadelphia and eastern Pennsylvania, New York City and Long Island, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland.
Available Positions at Clover Farms
Come get behind the wheel of a Clover Farms truck and become part of our strong team of hard-working, safe, and skilled drivers.
You will work locally for a great company and will be responsible for transporting a wide variety of dairy products, juices, and Icy Teas to various local locations within assigned route schedule and time windows.
Our full-time local truck driving jobs typically consist of transporting products within a radius that allows you to complete your deliveries and return home the same day. We do not offer over-the-road or long-haul driving positions.
In addition to excellent hourly compensation, Clover Farms employees enjoy access to comprehensive health benefits that include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision as well as life insurance, 401k, company funded pension, and paid vacation.
Class A and Class B CDL drivers should be 21 years of age*; possess a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR); be able to pass a DOT physical, drug screening, and physical capabilities test; comply with all personal appearance standards; and pass a Clover Farms road test. Class A CDL drivers must also have a tanker endorsement. (*We encourage applicants who are under 21 to apply because we provide training.)
The Perks of Short Haul Trucking Jobs
For the CDL driver, short haul trucking jobs come with several advantages:
More time at home. Long haul truckers are often away from home for days or weeks at a time. Clover Farms drivers have no overnight stays. You will be able to complete your deliveries and return home the same day.
Familiar territory. Instead of always traveling in new areas (which can be stressful), Clover Farms truck drivers work closer to home where they are usually more familiar with the roads and highways.
Better quality of life. In general, short haul truck drivers enjoy a better quality of life in comparison to long haul drivers. Although work days can start early and end late, drivers can be home more often, sleep in their own beds, and have access to healthier meals – things that make life a little easier!
If you recently acquired your CDL or are interested in making a career change, consider the truck driver jobs at Clover Farms. Our employment opportunities in Reading, PA offer lots of great benefits. Complete our online application form or contact us by email at email@example.com.
