If you are considering entering the beverage market or adding to your current line of products, consider companies like Clover Farms. Our private label packaging services will give you the potential to create a successful national brand.

Private Label Beverage Companies

Clover Farms was established in 1937 in the rich, rolling hills of Pennsylvania Dutch dairy country. Today, we are the largest privately owned dairy company in PA. We manufacture fluid milk, heavy cream, Icy Teas, fruit drinks, spring water, as well as eggnog, buttermilk, creamers, and other delicious products, for distribution to many local and regional stores, restaurants, schools and other institutions.

Co-Packing vs. Private Labeling

Many people use the terms “co-packing” and “private labeling” interchangeably. They are not the same, however, and there are some significant differences between them.

Co-Packing

Co-packing is also known as contract packing, contract packaging, or contract manufacturing. It means that a company manufactures, packages and labels products for a client using the client’s proprietary recipe(s).

The client retains ownership of their proprietary recipe, and the manufacturer agrees not to produce it for another client or share it without permission. Co-packing fees vary from project to project.

***Clover Farms does not offer co-packing.

Private Labeling

Private labeling refers to products from one company (e.g., Clover Farms Icy Teas) that are manufactured for sale under another company’s private label/brand.

In some cases, an exclusive formula can be created for you, or our current formula can be adjusted to meet your needs. Under a private label agreement, Clover Farms retains ownership of the formula.

If you do not have the in-house equipment, workforce, or expertise to develop, manufacture, package and distribute your own proprietary beverages, private label beverages from Clover Farms are an excellent alternative.
